Jaime del Burgo was born on July 10, 1970, in Pamplona. He is the grandson of the writer and historian Jaime del Burgo, a winner of the Spanish National Prize for Literature, and the eldest son of Jaime Ignacio del Burgo, former president of the historical region of Navarre.

PhD in finance, author of El Sendero de la Paz (The Path of Peace), La Autonomía Financiera de Navarra (The Financial Autonomy of Navarre), among other publications, he started his career as a multidisciplinary entrepreneur in 1994. A photographer and designer, he is also an industrial developer with several patents in his possession.

Jaime del Burgo doesn’t belong to any public organization, political party, or association of any kind. He left Spain in 2000 and has been working in a number of countries around the world (Kingdom of Morocco, Republic of South Africa, United Mexican States, Federative Republic of Brazil, United States of America, French Republic, Italian Republic, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northem Ireland, Federal Republic of Germany, Swiss Confederation, Republic of Austria, Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Portuguese Republic). His business activities have included renewable energies, robotics, off-site construction, marketing and branding, corporate vision and business strategy, industrial and nautical design, media production, bioclimatic architecture, civil engineering, and financial advice.
